The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

Our client, a charity, is looking to recruit a Head of International Research and Policy to deliver its International Policy work.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leadership of a core strategic department;
  • Developing strategy;
  • Leading on major projects and initiatives;
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship building;
  • Leading, managing and developing the international team.

Essential skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of UK higher education;
  • Experience of setting up budget plans and managing expenditure effectively;
  • Understanding of research funding landscape;
  • Experience of working with committees/workgroups & facilitating discussion at meetings;
  • Creative and strategic thinker.
