A new and exciting opportunity has arisen at Roche Diagnostics for a Local Programmes Manager to join our Medical and Public Affairs team.

About the role

The role will be to focus on working with a range of local and regional stakeholders, enabling Roche to make effective contributions to the delivery of In vitro diagnostic services within local health economies. This role will assist Roche to operate as a partner in shaping healthcare, by pro-actively building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders within the NHS in order to deliver care pathway improvement and/or health service transformation projects at a local level.

As the Local Programmes Manager you will manage & identify opportunities for improving performance, NHS Outcomes and Planning Documentation for local areas. You will review health datasets and trends and generate reports in order to assist Roche in advising the NHS around key process improvement initiatives.

Integral to the success of this role will be the ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally both within Roche and the NHS, together with KOLs in order to help shape the future of healthcare and its operations.

About you

You will be educated to Degree level or equivalent and ideally have a Degree in Life Sciences or possibly Health Economics. You must possess excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to develop and maintain lasting and credible relationships with Health Care Stakeholders.

You must also have experience of project management and a proven track record of delivering results. An in-depth understanding of relevant health and social care interfaces, together with local/nationals agendas and priorities is also essential.
