I am currently recruiting for 1x permanent Policy Adviser and 1x twelve month fixed term Policy Adviser for the Pensions Regulator in Brighton. You will:

  • provide high quality technical analysis, briefings and research on complex pensions, financial and regulatory issues
  • be responsible for actively identifying and gathering a sound evidence base to inform policy making
  • report on developments that affect the pensions industry and its regulation
  • work with TPR colleagues to clarify policy intent, strengthen legislative drafting and contribute to legislation to support TPR objectives and facilitate effective implementation
  • produce comprehensive briefings and advice for technical and non technical audiences on complex pensions and regulatory issues
  • deliver policy products including codes, guidance, impact assessments and evaluations as part of policy interventions
  • deliver responses to a wide range of external  consultations and policy queries

You will have:

  • Pensions and financial services knowledge;
  • Policy Development experience;
  • Better regulation principles;
  • Strategy formulation approaches and techniques;
  • Strategic evaluation techniques;
  • Understanding of Regulatory Impact Assessment procedures.
