I am currently recruiting for 1x permanent Policy Adviser and 1x twelve month fixed term Policy Adviser for the Pensions Regulator in Brighton. You will:
- provide high quality technical analysis, briefings and research on complex pensions, financial and regulatory issues
- be responsible for actively identifying and gathering a sound evidence base to inform policy making
- report on developments that affect the pensions industry and its regulation
- work with TPR colleagues to clarify policy intent, strengthen legislative drafting and contribute to legislation to support TPR objectives and facilitate effective implementation
- produce comprehensive briefings and advice for technical and non technical audiences on complex pensions and regulatory issues
- deliver policy products including codes, guidance, impact assessments and evaluations as part of policy interventions
- deliver responses to a wide range of external consultations and policy queries
You will have:
- Pensions and financial services knowledge;
- Policy Development experience;
- Better regulation principles;
- Strategy formulation approaches and techniques;
- Strategic evaluation techniques;
- Understanding of Regulatory Impact Assessment procedures.
