Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Join the Network

The European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA) represents members along the whole solar photovoltaics value chain and in related business sectors. Our mission is to shape the regulatory environment to promote the growing market opportunity for solar in Europe.

You will be part of a dynamic international team in the EU area in Brussels. Within the Policy Department, your task will be to identify technology and market trends to inform EPIA’s political positioning and promote commercial opportunities for our members.

Main responsibilities

  • Enhance EPIA’s thought leadership on technology and market developments;
  • Support EPIA’s positioning on policies and regulation related to power system and market design;
  • Support EPIA’s advocacy activities in Brussels and Europe;
  • Participate in European research projects within a team of experts;
  • Contribute to the drafting of EPIA publications;
  • Maintain a strong link with the EPIA membership on all relevant topics;
  • Actively promote EPIA’s network with related sectors;
  • Represent EPIA in technical conferences and workshops;
  • Support concept development and organisation of events for EPIA;
  • Engage with EPIA members to respond to queries and to inform them of solar sector opportunities.

Desired skills and experience

  • A university degree preferably in engineering, energy economics, or equivalent;
  • Proven relevant professional experience in the energy sector;
  • A strong interest in the interaction between European (and national) regulation and policies and the evolution of electricity sector;
  • Good organisational, networking and communication skills;
  • Analytical, curious, pragmatic and flexible approach and attitude;
  • Skilled in drafting briefings and reports;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required.
