We are looking to recruit a Policy and Government Relations Advisor to work within a high performing team. This role is responsible for working collaboratively to develop and deliver the policy and engagement strategy for Wales and working with a team of researchers to develop policy solutions to support government and industry.

Based in our offices in Wales, you will advise the Strategic Partnership Director in Wales and shape policy around the skills agenda, while also providing monitoring and analysis to develop our strategy and keep us at the centre of debate around vocational qualifications.

Reporting into the UK Policy and Government Affairs Manager, you will be required to lead briefings with the Strategic Partnerships Director for Wales, the team and MPs, AMs, Ministers and civil servants.

Delivering innovative public affairs tactics, evidence based research, writing reports, managing high profile events and responding to consultations and enquiries will all also feature in the role as you champion the views of the construction industry and shape policy.

This is an important role in a key public sector organisation that will give you the opportunity to work at a senior level and support the delivery on some of the biggest construction projects in Wales.
