Anthony Nolan is a pioneering charity that helps saves the lives of people with blood cancer. Every day we match remarkable people willing to donate their blood stem cells to people who desperately need lifesaving transplants. We ‘re now looking for a Policy and Public Affairs Officer to influence policy and save more lives.

Reporting to the Policy and Public Affairs Manager, the successful candidate will support the development of policies relevant and of value to the work of Anthony Nolan. You will also support the promotion of the understanding of Anthony Nolan’s lifesaving work among political audiences and wider stakeholders and communicate the importance of growing the adult stem cell (bone marrow) donor register and cord blood banking in the UK.

As well as excellent interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication skills, you will have previous experience within a policy, public affairs or corporate communications role. Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to provide written and verbal briefings to senior level political stakeholders. Research skills and the ability to handle sensitive and complex information are also essential.
