An opportunity has arisen to join the Policy and Public Affairs Team of this well regarded financial services institution.
Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Policy and Public Affairs, the successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the organisation's reputation with Westminster/Whitehall and other stakeholders – both domestically and at European level.
You will be responsible for
- Developing sound policy positions on key policy positions on key issues and communicate those to external stakeholders;
- Support and manage senior level engagement with key stakeholders from national and local government, the UK and European parliaments;
- Develop and implement effective public affairs strategies and campaigns to deliver real value to the organisation;
- Representing the organisation externally.
You will have
- A successful track record in developing and driving forward public affairs campaigns both at a European and domestic level;
- You will be able to demonstrate a strong network;
- Financial services experience is essential;
- Be a highly analytical, strategic thinker who is creative and pragmatic.
