I am currently recruiting for a unique and highly successful consultancy that is going through a huge period of growth. I am looking to recruit several permanent staff members with extensive experience in the field of policy design and policy analysis. I am looking for people at all levels – from Researchers to Directors and prospective Partners. They will join a rapidly growing policy practice, which works for some of the biggest brands in the world on projects that range from economic modelling to original policy design.

Policy specialists work very closely with opinion researchers, campaigners and strategists to help clients create credible ideas that can influence public policy. Our work seeks to find the right crossover between good policy design, public opinion and the political context – in that we seek to provide clients with ideas that politicians and officials can implement in the real world.

Our client is looking for people:

  • with skills in quantitative analysis (probably economics or data analysis, but we’re open to other quantitative backgrounds). Even if you don’t do data analysis yourself, it is essential you have a basic comfort with numbers;
  • with specialisms in particular areas – for example, science and tech, healthcare, trade, infrastructure, education, workplace issues and sustainability – but who are prepared to learn and pick up new areas too;
  • who have experience of producing detailed policy analysis and original ideas – of the sort that is routinely produced in think tanks, economics consultancies, management consultancies and Government Departments;
  • while we’re interested in hearing from people that can oversee major projects, really we’re looking for people that can actually personally produce the work. In policy, senior people still do thinking and the writing.
