A great opportunity with a long standing trade association whose members include household names in the field of health, you’ll lead on the creation and delivery of proactive PR programmes in support of all aspects of the organisation’s work, policy, advocacy and campaigns included, while running an effective response service and working in partnership with members and colleagues across the UK.

In addition to developing content and building relations with national, regional and trade media, both print and broadcast, and leading on digital and social media, you’ll produce media briefings and advice for senior management and support in the development of overall communications strategy.

Skilled in generating news and shaping messaging, you’ll bring a track record in securing proactive coverage with a talent for crafting engaging written and visual content for diverse channels and audiences. Working on industry-wide initiatives and in close collaboration with other organisations, you’ll need excellent influencing and relationship building skills with the ability to generate consensus and drive programmes through to successful completion and within budget. Experience of managing agencies would be a plus.
