About the role:

You will have the exciting chance to enhance your contacts, become a driving force behind one of our most significant departments and empower our organisation to continue transforming lives.

As a Public Affairs Advisor, you will be responsible for strengthening our Public Affairs Department. Specifically, you will manage relationships with national stakeholders, lead communications to political audiences and influence political and policy-making processes.

You’ll develop and deliver innovative public affairs strategies to maximise revenue and increase brand awareness. To strengthen our relationships with target groups, you will build, maintain and manage engaging content and communication tools.

Identifying key stakeholders, you will develop and oversee projects designed to enhance relationships across the division, including strategic partnerships, alliances and coalitions. You’ll also co-ordinate work with colleagues to develop a tactical approach for gathering intelligence.

Additionally, you will act as a representative for our charity at political events in order to network and forge strong working relationships with key influential figures.

To be considered for this unique opportunity, you must have:

  • Experience of working in a political or public policy environment;
  • Proven experience of writing high quality briefings;
  • A track record of working in a complex internal environment;
  • The ability to influence stakeholders;
  • A degree or equivalent.

Politically aware and organised, as a Public Affairs Advisor, you must have exceptional negotiation, influencing and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Salary:

£33,000 - £36,000 Plus Pension Scheme, Health Cash Plan, Childcare Vouchers & More.
