Join the Network

A pivotal new role with an influential organisation, you’ll lead the public affairs and media functions, designing and delivering an influencing and reputation management programme that will improve understanding with key stakeholders, while mentoring and leading a team.

In addition to analysing emerging public policy risks and opportunities, you’ll co-ordinate public positioning and messaging across the UK and lead on improved engagement with the devolved administrations, an early focus being on the Scottish Parliament but with Welsh and Northern Irish stakeholders too.

Experience of managing a public affairs and/or press function within a high-profile organisation and building relations with internal and external stakeholders at all levels is essential along with demonstrable success in leading and motivating a team.

An experienced presenter, articulate and credible, you’ll be well placed to represent the organisation in broadcast media and you’ll point to a track record of personally influencing political stakeholders. Representing the organisation in Scotland and providing leadership to a London-based team, you’ll be happy to divide your time between both locations.
