Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Join the Network

A newly created role with a prestigious membership organisation for whom you’ll collaborate with members to develop agreed positions and lead the delivery of public affairs activity. Representing the organisation and the sector to the NHS and political stakeholders, NDPBs and regulators, trade and professional bodies as well as media, you’ll attend regular meetings and forge contacts with decision makers; write and edit policy submissions to UK and EU consultations; provide analysis and insight to members on the healthcare and political environment; and draft press releases,  while engaging with journalists as the policy expert and providing input to social media strategy. A good working knowledge of political process and the healthcare sector is essential as are strong writing and presentation skills, and you’ll demonstrate a track record in developing policy and delivering impactful public affairs campaigns with the ability to build relations with stakeholders at all levels.
