Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Join the Network

An international, large-scale financial organisation is working with Electus to procure a public affairs officer to join their team on a permanent basis in their London office.

An ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid knowledge and background within Public Affairs;
  • Ability to ‘hit the ground running’ and, from day one, take on key work;
  • The capability to take on core role responsibilities quickly and efficiently;
  • Be ambitious, with the ability to use their initiative;
  • Have an aptitude to working well under pressure, managing a number of tasks at once;
  • Excellent written and communication skills;
  • Training as a junior executive at an agency previously would be desirable.

Role accountabilities:

  • A successful candidate would be responsible for their core parliamentary engagement;
  • You would play an integral part in contributing towards running a major campaign;
  • Organising and running a number of key events;
  • Assist in the organisation of an ‘all party’ group;
  • Participate in public affairs within Europe and Asia.
