The successful candidate will need to be able to digest and assimilate large amounts of information and be able to analyse and interpret what impact such information will have on the organisation. A logical and rational approach will need to be taken when communicating this information to the team, and the candidate should be able to summarise and write reports following monitoring researching an area.
The candidate will need to analyse and assess information from an economic regulatory point of view, and have the ability to accurately and concisely report considerations and implications to the team; regulation is likely to be source driven rather than numerical.
You will have experience with an economic regulator or financial services policymaking experience, and a background in policy/politics, history, economics, legal or similar may be useful.
The candidate must be self-motivated, proactive and resolution focussed with a willingness to build relationships and cooperate with others to achieve common outcomes.
