I am recruiting for a Regulatory Policy Director with a telecommunications organisation in London.
You will:

  • Lead regulatory policy projects through regulatory framework analysis, formulation of regulatory proposals and communication of industry positions;
  • Deliver stakeholder workshops in priority markets to present the findings of policy research and policy recommendations;
  • Undertake assessment of global regulatory landscape and existing regulations in specific markets to provide insightful analysis for in-market interventions in priority markets (as defined by the programme) and to produce and advocate policy recommendations;
  • Monitor global telecoms regulatory developments, review external policy research publications and draw implications for mobile industry.

You will have:

  • Relevant and broad experience of regulatory policy development and advocacy with significant experience preferably in the telecoms sector but other regulated markets will considered;
  • Excellent research and analytical skills with evidence of using research and other evidence to inform regulatory analysis and advocacy; ability to assimilate, distil and summarise complex information and make clear judgements on key issues and advocacy tactics In-depth understanding of the full-life cycle of the regulatory policy development process with experience of regulatory analysis and policy formulation in complex environments;
  • A proven team player who can work effectively with teams across the organisation and cancollaborate effectively with external stakeholders.
