A highly respected leading business association is looking for a Senior Communications Adviser to join the team. The role requires significant experience working in a busy and demanding press office, delivering media communications across multiple platforms and providing advice to senior level spokespeople as well as advising colleagues on a daily basis.

As well as handling the day to day media enquiries and working closely with the policy teams to identify and develop compelling narrative to raise the businesses profile in the media, you will also be responsible for handling press activity for senior directors across the organisation. You will have very strong written skills and be responsible for creating press releases, statements and briefings for the media as well as its online presence (both web and social media). The successful candidate will also be in charge of overseeing and organising media events, including conferences, photo calls and roundtables. An understanding and experience of working on a global level would be beneficial and knowledge of the political environment is desirable.

This role will be a fast-paced and challenging one and will require someone with a strong news sense, the ability to work under pressure, excellent stakeholder management skills and flexibility.
