A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Policy Advisor (financial services).
The main responsibilities of these roles are as follows:
- Respond rapidly to emerging policy risks and gaps by producing short pieces of analysis or by scoping out a longer term pieces of work;
- Deliver business-critical policy projects - typically between 6-9 months in duration;
- Plan and coordinate policy work across the three departments - both domestically and in the EU/internationally;
- Lead on early intervention policy.
You will have:
- Experience of working in an analytical role in a regulatory/public policy related field;
- The ability to draw reasoned and logical inferences from quantitative and qualitative data;
- Reach robust and practical conclusions;
- The ability to manage a diverse set of projects and work streams;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills - including the ability to distil complex issues into succinct messages and present confidently and concisely to a variety of internal and external stakeholders;
- Resilience: the ability to deliver complex pieces of work to challenging deadlines;
- Ability to anticipate and assess the wider impact of changes to regulation on consumers, markets and businesses.
