A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Policy Advisor (financial services).

The main responsibilities of these roles are as follows:

  • Respond rapidly to emerging policy risks and gaps by producing short pieces of analysis or by scoping out a longer term pieces of work;
  • Deliver business-critical policy projects - typically between 6-9 months in duration;
  • Plan and coordinate policy work across the three departments - both domestically and in the EU/internationally;
  • Lead on early intervention policy.

You will have:

  • Experience of working in an analytical role in a regulatory/public policy related field;
  • The ability to draw reasoned and logical inferences from quantitative and qualitative data;
  • Reach robust and practical conclusions;
  • The ability to manage a diverse set of projects and work streams;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills - including the ability to distil complex issues into succinct messages and present confidently and concisely to a variety of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Resilience: the ability to deliver complex pieces of work to challenging deadlines;
  • Ability to anticipate and assess the wider impact of changes to regulation on consumers, markets and businesses.
