A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a high profile charity with a record of successfully delivering health related campaigns. The organisation is now seeking an experienced public affairs professional to join them during this exciting time of change.

As part of the public affairs team, the successful candidate will have a track record in delivering high-profile public affairs campaigns and managing projects. The role will work closely with the campaigns and policy teams, and will lead on public affairs and parliamentary activity in order to build visibility of the organisation, its achievements and policy positions among political stakeholders and officials in government.

Key accountabilities:

  • Lead on public affairs work and parliamentary engagement in relation to the general election;
  • Lead on planning and delivery of public affairs projects, including managing the budgets;
  • Build relationships with external and internal stakeholders;
  • Line management responsibilities;
  • Engage and influence people at every level.

Profile of the successful candidate:

  • Track record of delivering public affairs in a similar role;
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to inspire and lead a team/ junior members;
  • Excellent ambassadorial skills, representing the organisation at a senior level;
  • Proven experience of working with stakeholders and successfully influencing at all levels;
  • Ideally have experience within health organisations or a charity background.
