Network Rail is involved in some of the most ambitious and diverse ventures the UK has ever seen, from Europe’s largest civil engineering project, Crossrail, to the rejuvenation of King’s Cross station, we are at the heart of revitalising Britain’s railway, transforming the way people travel. Our Group Strategy team is responsible for developing medium and long-term company strategies that will make sure our people understand and meet regulatory obligations, and sustain business plans that reflect our goals. And it’s here where you join us.

We’re looking for a Senior Reform Specialist to join our team and support the development of the regulatory and contractual regime. As you supply technical expertise, you will sustain both industry wide and Network Rail corporate goals, ensuring our ongoing evolution. Whether you’re leading projects that build a corporate knowledge base, or providing policy leadership on access charging and Network Code issues, you will be providing potential impact on the business, at the highest quality.

Educated to a degree level, with practical experience in contract management, regulation or client services you will expertly be able to guide and support the junior team members, enabling them to grow their technical skills. You will use your strong analytical and communication skills to articulate complex topics to non-specialist audiences, making sure they understand our goals, delivering a better railway that is vital for the economic prosperity of this country.

We believe that investing in our people is one of the most effective ways of improving the safety, reliability and efficiency of the railway. We strive to do everything we can to build a better railway for Britain and we want you to join us on our journey.
