About the event

A number of developers are beginning to explore the potential for large scale solar energy development in Scotland. In this context, this event aims to assess the potential for solar energy to contribute to the achievement of challenging Scottish Government targets to increase significantly the amount of electricity generated from renewable sources. With contributions from a range of experts, it will also consider key challenges and best practice models for the delivery of large scale solar energy projects in a Scottish planning and policy context.
