This is a riveting time for anyone interested in policy, communications, and engagement. With a change in government likely in July, and planning and the drive to net-zero high on the political agenda, our clients are seeking to engage with politicians at all levels. CalComms are looking for an energetic and proactive Account Executive to join the business and support our clients in the renewable energy sector secure political support at local and national levels.

CalComms is a fast-growing Westminster-based political communications agency servicing clients in multiple disciplines, engaging with politicians and audiences from local government to national campaigns. In the last year we have taken on several new national projects through a new pipeline of clean energy clients.

We are looking for someone with a passion for politics who will enjoy getting stuck into big national and local campaigns. You will be joining a great team who work on some incredibly interesting projects. There is huge scope for professional growth and although experience is preferred, it is not required.

Working directly with senior management, the successful applicant will:

  • Produce engaging, accurate and accessible materials; drafting copy and managing the design and print of materials such as flyers, briefing documents, brochures and websites;
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects and campaigns to promote new and exciting renewable energy and property developments, both locally and nationally;
  • Bringing excellent research skills to the job to give our clients the edge and help us continue to be ahead of the game;
  • Help organise events with senior clients, stakeholders, political figures and others;
  • Manage responses to consultations, analysing data and identifying trends;
  • Supporting the Account Director and wider team on delivering key tasks.
