Following a number of exciting new business wins, SEC Newgate UK is looking for a motivated Executive to join our team in London, working across the advocacy accounts.

Working for high-profile clients in sectors such as property, energy and infrastructure, you will support our stakeholder engagement work on major regeneration and infrastructure schemes, as well as assisting with communications for developments being built or that have become operational.

Responsibilities

As an Executive, you will be responsible for producing research and analysis to help provide our clients with the context they need to build effective strategies, and you will create communications collateral to support the delivery of impactful campaigns.

Working for a top 30 global communications group and having close interaction with the wider team in the UK and beyond, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skillset and to become involved in providing advice to clients across our various specialisms - from public affairs and stakeholder engagement, to corporate, financial and consumer communications.

The person

We are looking for a candidate with strong writing and analytical skills, with a good understanding and enthusiasm for local and national politics. Some experience of working with media outlets and on social media would also be desirable. With a primary focus on housing, development and infrastructure, you will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the local and national media landscape, as well as issues of political importance.

You will have strong research skills and the ability to write in a clear, concise, and accurate manner. As this is an agency setting, you should also be able to work well as part of a team and to prioritise competing deadlines effectively.

Experience working in either politics, the media, or the property, energy and infrastructure sectors is preferred but not essential.

Our Value

There are many things we feel passionately about but one that links them all together is respect. Respect for each other, ourselves, our clients, our suppliers, the environment we work in, the communities we operate in, and respect for everyone that are impacted by our actions.

Respect is at the heart of everything we do.

The benefits

As well as a competitive salary and benefits package, we offer 30 days’ holiday each year (plus a day off for your birthday and a day off for a charitable activity), as well as opportunities to work flexibly and be part of a fun, friendly and high-calibre global team.
