The Association of Police and Crime Commissioners (APCC) – the national membership organisation for Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) and their equivalents - has an exciting opportunity for graduate intern to join our busy team for an initial six month period to gain experience working with PCCs at the heart of Westminster.

You would have a particular responsibility for supporting the Political Group for our Conservative PCCs. This is a ‘politically restricted’ role that will provide logistical and analytical support to the Conservative group, but not contribute directly to party political activities. We anticipate that there will also be excellent opportunities to get involved in APCC work on policy areas in policing, criminal justice, and community safety.

This is a rewarding and exciting role and provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience for a public service career, working with an experienced policy and public affairs team in a high profile, fast moving environment. You will need to be a quick learner, who is well organised, has excellent communications skills and the ability to work to deadlines in a busy environment. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

Location: We are based in London, with opportunities for remote and flexible working.

Full-time for six months, with possibility of a further extension.
