Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

Leading built environment communications consultancy, BECG, has appointed Steve Norris, former Transport Minister, Conservative Party Vice Chairman and twice candidate for London Mayor, as a Senior Strategic Advisor to provide additional experience, expertise, and insight across housing, infrastructure, energy and renewables and the future of the UK’s towns and cities.

Norris will also work closely with political and corporate communications consultancy Cavendish Advocacy, which is part of BECG - a group of over 100 communications specialists, PRCA UK Consultancy of the Year and 1st in PRWeek’s Public Affairs rankings.

Norris has extensive global experience in infrastructure, property, and transportation. He currently chairs Soho Estates, This Land, and Driver Group plc and provides expert counsel and strategic advice to businesses operating in infrastructure, property, energy and transportation. He is President of ITS-UK, the UK arm of the ITS Global Network and a former board member of Transport for London. He is Chairman of the Council of the National Infrastructure Planning Association.

Norris will be providing a unique blend of strategic political advice and direct commercial experience to the Consultancy and will provide expert advice on major policy matters including such as sustainability and the journey towards net zero, building beautiful, hydrogen as a green alternative and will also focus on the green high street revolution.
