Becky Franklin, Senior Account Manager at JFG Communications, has won the prestigious ‘Public Affairs Professional of the Year’ award at this year’s PRCA-PoliMonitor Public Affairs Awards, announced on 1st February.

The Public Affairs Awards are the only dedicated awards ceremony in the UK for the public affairs industry, and are the perfect opportunity to showcase some of the excellent work from the industry over the past year.

Commenting on her win, Becky said: “It’s such an honour to be named as Public Affairs Professional of the Year. Since joining JFG Comms back in 2019 as an Intern, I’ve worked my way up to a senior level and have strived to develop personally and professionally to make a positive contribution to the industry and policymaking. I have been so lucky to have been mentored by our CEO since the start of my career and it is so important to have female allies in our sector. I hope I can have the same impact on someone’s career in the future.”

Jo Field, Founder and CEO of JFG Comms, said: “I couldn’t be more proud of everything Becky has a achieved since joining JFG five years ago. Becky has helped me shape our agency into what it is today and she thoroughly deserves to be recognised as Professional of the Year.”

To be recognised as Professional of the Year, Becky had to demonstrate her achievements in several categories including leadership, initiative, and performance and contribution to the industry in which she works.

The winners were announced at an awards ceremony in London on Thursday 1st February.
