Pace-setting European public affairs and strategic communications group, Rud Pedersen, has continued to reinforce its political advisory offering in the UK market with the addition of Harry Fairhead.

Fairhead brings extensive prior experience from a decade working across policy campaigning and communications consultancy, latterly as a Director at Hawthorn Advisers. He began his career at the national campaigning organization, The Taxpayers’ Aliance, and has also served as Policy Manager at a national trade association.

Highly adept at delivering integrated political advocacy and strategic media campaigns, underpinned by substantial policy knowledge, Harry brings a dynamic and creative approach to supporting his clients. He has advised organisations and individuals on campaigns to influence Government decision-making, secure legislative and regulatory change and to raise profile in the UK political sphere. His clients have been from a wide range of sectors but he has particularly covered diversified industrials, TMT and consumer financial services.

Rud Pedersen’s UK Managing Partner, Jon Aarons, commented “We’re delighted to have brought someone with Harry’s experience and exceptional political advisory and client management skills to the Rud Pedersen London team. He’s bringing excellent analytical advice that clients can trust and act on to secure their political, reputational and regulatory goals. We now have the strength in depth to take on any challenge and to help clients in any way they might need.”

Harry Fairhead added “I am delighted to join Rud Pedersen – this is an unique and very exciting opportunity to help a leading European public affairs group build its presence in a new market. The UK faces turbulent political weather - a new Prime Minister, combined with the structural realignment of Brexit, will undoubtedly create challenges and opportunities for businesses. With international colleagues, and the excellent London team, Rud Pedersen is exceptionally well placed to help clients navigate these uncertainties to achieve their business goals. I look forward to helping them do so while continuing to develop professionally in a new environment.”
