JFG Communications has been appointed to the London Legacy Development Corporation’s (LLDC) Engineering and Associated Services Framework as part of the Buro Happold-led team, alongside AECOM, LDA Design and Turner & Townsend.

The appointment brings together a multi-disciplinary team that will support LLDC and its Mayoral Development Corporation partners in delivering inclusive, innovative and resilient public spaces and neighbourhoods, as well as improved connections to the wider city.

Working alongside Buro Happold and partners, JFG Communications will provide stakeholder engagement and strategic communications expertise, helping to ensure communities are involved throughout the planning and delivery of infrastructure, regeneration and placemaking projects.

The framework provides a key delivery vehicle for LLDC and the wider Greater London Authority (GLA) group, supporting the delivery of integrated public realm, highways and infrastructure projects that unlock economic growth through sustainable infrastructure and create places where people and businesses can thrive.

Jo Field OBE, Founder and Chief Executive of JFG Communications, said:

“We’re excited to be partnering with Buro Happold on the LLDC framework and believe this is a real opportunity to raise the bar on how public spaces are planned and delivered, by focusing on how safe and inclusive they feel for everyone.

“Having worked on major transport and regeneration programmes across London, including the London 2012 Olympics and its legacy, I’ve seen how infrastructure can transform places when it’s shaped with communities.

“Our approach embeds inclusive engagement from the outset, with a focus on under-represented groups and lived experience as central to the design of places that are safe, inclusive and accessible for all.”

The appointment builds on Buro Happold’s long-standing relationship with LLDC and the wider legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Together, the team will help support continued investment and regeneration across East London, creating high-quality public spaces that deliver long-term social, economic and environmental value.

JFG Communications brings extensive experience supporting major infrastructure, transport and regeneration programmes, helping clients engage communities, build trust and communicate the benefits of investment.

The Buro Happold-led team comprises Buro Happold, AECOM, JFG Communications, LDA Design and Turner & Townsend.
