European public affairs and strategic communications group, Rud Pedersen, has added to its fast-growing London office with the appointment of Millie Beaver as a Consultant.

Millie most recently served as Parliamentary Assistant to the Rt Hon Tobias Ellwood MP, the influential Chairman of the Defence Select Committee in the House of Commons. Previously, Millie worked on the staff of Victoria Prentis, the MP for Banbury, during her tenure as a Minister at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA). Ms Prentis was recently appointed Attorney General in Rishi Sunak’s cabinet.

Millie graduated with a First in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Birmingham in 2020. During her studies Millie worked as a presenter and coach at Elevate Education.

Rud Pedersen’s UK Managing Partner Jon Aarons commented:

“We’re thrilled to welcome another rising star to our rapidly evolving London office. Millie’s up-to-date Parliamentary experience, across defence and environmental issues, will add significantly to our growing knowledge base. As our portfolio of clients continues to grow, across the full spectrum of sectors, we are continuing to hire talented consultants at all levels.”

Millie Beaver added: “I have been fortunate to work for both a Government Minister and a Chair of a Select Committee during my time in Parliament. I have acquired experience and expertise working in a number of policy areas throughout this time, specifically in Defence and Foreign Policy. I am thoroughly looking forward to bringing this experience to my new role in Rud Pedersen’s growing London office.”
