About Kanda Consulting

Kanda is a public affairs agency, operating exclusively in the regeneration, property and planning world. The only objective to deliver for our clients: exceptional public consultation communications combined with the best policy and political counsel operating in London and the South East today.

Based near Old Street, you will be working on some of the biggest regeneration and development proposals in London. If you are looking for a job combining big agency client lists with the ethos and culture of a boutique agency, we would love to hear from you.

Our highly-skilled team of political and community consultants has a vast amount of experience in delivering planning consents that meet with the needs and aspirations of local people in some of the most high-profile regeneration areas in London.

While we will deliver all the basics for our clients and more, our service is focussed on deploying the best and most innovative work in the industry.

About the role

We are looking for Account Executives to assist our team of highly-experienced communications consultants. On a day-to-day basis, you will support project delivery by assisting an experienced Senior Account Manager on a wide range of regeneration schemes across London.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Political research and analysis;
  • Media monitoring;
  • Organising public exhibition events;
  • Liaising with journalists;
  • Drafting press releases;
  • New business research and meetings.

Your experience

You will have proven experience at a public affairs agency or other relevant organisation, ideally within the planning / regeneration / transport space. You will have excellent academic credentials and a keen interest in politics, especially at the local government level.

Please note that our work is focussed exclusively on local government, including local councils and the General London Assembly. This is not a role concerned with planning parliamentary events or policy research.
