Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

  • Preferably some established media relationships.

About Integra

Integra is a strategic communications, reputation and social impact consultancy, set up by Zaki Cooper and Nick Loughran in 2021. We work for businesses that have a social purpose, as well as entrepreneurs, leaders, family offices and philanthropists. In particular, we do a lot of work on reputation management, proactive comms and thought leadership for our clients, as well as crisis comms.

Role Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of client accounts, working on comms/ media strategy and delivery;
  • Taking the lead on some client accounts, and supporting the co-founders on others;
  • Securing media coverage, including pitching/ briefings for broadcast and print/ online media;
  • Providing strategic counsel to clients, including writing strategy documents/ plans;
  • Delivering communications plans and PR campaigns;
  • Developing relationships with media contacts;
  • Analysing media coverage;
  • Writing articles/ blogs/ speeches;
  • Supporting with client digital communications, including social media, website, and newsletters;
  • Providing creative ideas to clients;
  • Able to deal with high-level contacts and situations.

Skills Required

  • Attention to detail in written, research and strategic work;
  • Ability to work fast, be proactive and take initiative;
  • Excellent copywriting, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Well-organised and can multi-task;
  • Responsive to client needs and confident in client handling;
  • Diplomatic and discreet nature;
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to develop professional network and contacts;
  • Being part of a culture, which is collaborative, caring and supportive;
  • Uphold integrity in all dealings.
