The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

WA Communications is recruiting for an Account Manager to join its growing health practice. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a developing consultant with a passion for health policy who is looking for a new and exciting challenge.

WA is a top five public affairs and corporate communications consultancy based in Westminster. We are independently owned, meaning we focus on client, not shareholder, returns.

The ongoing expansion of our highly regarded health practice means that we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join the team and play an important role in supporting our continued growth.

You will have a critical role on our accounts across a range of therapy areas. You will work closely with our health team and practice director to deliver outstanding client service and be encouraged and supported to spot and develop new business opportunities.  You will also have the opportunity to lead on creative marketing initiatives and build your own personal network.

What we are looking for

You will be an public affairs professional with a track record of delivering high impact work in health policy. You will have:

  • A detailed understanding of the UK’s health policy landscape and political processes;
  • A client-centric attitude that prizes accessibility, responsiveness and quality;
  • A passion for business and an entrepreneurial spirit;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and team working skills;
  • Experience of delivering client programmes in the health sector;
  • Organisation, efficiency and attention to detail;
  • Ability to analyse, summarise and communicate about complex policy and healthcare issues for different audiences;
  • Intellectual curiosity.
