The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The Corporate Affairs Executive role at Imperial Brands will be working alongside a dynamic team and will specialise in New Generation Products (NGP), with a focus on engagement, advocacy, and policy.

The role offers a great opportunity to gain unique insights into our New Generation Products business (targeted to our vape, heated tobacco and nicotine pouch portfolio) and how Corporate Affairs can help support key commercial priorities. By joining Imperial Brands, you will be part of an inclusive and innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Monitoring and analysing global regulatory landscape to support Group business planning decisions;
  • Development of policy positions, advocacy material and communications for engagement purposes in markets;
  • Reporting to the Head of NGP Corporate Affairs, based in the NGP CA team in Imperial’s global CLA function and working closely with senior leaders;
  • Support our product category teams, Global Consumer Office and market clients to develop future strategy and ensure aligned implementation across regions, clusters and markets;
  • Representing Imperial Brands at external conferences and events.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Experience in the field of Corporate or Public Affairs within a regulated sector;
  • Strong interest in politics, international relations, and policy development;
  • Ability to form networks and build relationships within a complex, matrix organisation;
  • Experience in delivering presentations to market Corporate Affairs teams, senior leaders and external audiences;
  • Flexibility for regular overseas and UK travel.
