Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

Our client, a renowned pharmaceutical organisation, have a newly created opportunity for an experience government affairs professional. Reporting directly to the Head of Public Affairs you will be responsible for leading on the development and implementation of policy and government affairs initiatives in the UK. Acting as a champion for the team, and working closely with the Head of, you will work on a number of cross-portfolio projects with senior management.

You will have a successful track record within health care/pharmaceuticals gained either from in-house or from an agency. You will have an excellent understanding of the UK political system – specifically Westminster/Whitehall. You will have experience of working on NHS policy and will be able to demonstrate your experience in building long term, successful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders across government, agency, patient groups etc.
