Are you a dynamic, collaborative and influential campaigner? Passionate about the environment and how it affects people’s health and reducing health inequalities? Do you build effective relationships and inspire change to achieve demonstrable results?

Would you like to be part of a high-performance team working in partnership with the Health Equals campaign and Healthy Air Coalition to create meaningful political change to cut air pollution and improve health outcomes equitably?

If so, Global Action Plan is looking for a Head of Policy and Advocacy to lead our campaign to ensure radical action on air pollution and health is firmly on the political agenda for the next General Election. We are looking for a passionate campaigner with a proven track record of influencing parliamentarians and political parties, to deliver ambitious policies that will create clean air in the UK. The post holder will be an engaging and persuasive communicator skilled in campaigning and with experience of tactics to influence decision makers and create change.

This post is funded by Health Equals to support campaigning around the building blocks of health and the intent to campaign on air quality in partnership with others. It will also work closely with the Healthy Air Coalition, helping to advance the shared goals of both coalitions and identify and amplify mutually beneficial clean air policy calls through members. As such this role will be supported by peer-learning opportunities from other Health Equals partnership policy posts in other member organisations.
