The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

We are looking to recruit a highly organised and enthusiastic Partnerships Officer to join our Partnerships team.

The Partnerships team plays a key role in supporting the IfG’s activities. It engages with external partners to secure funding and other forms of support for our work, as well as creating opportunities for our research and other activities to be consumed more widely by different audiences in the public policy sphere. Working across the organisation, with all research teams, the communications and events team and with senior management and leadership, the Partnerships team advises and assists in the delivery of all partnered projects at the IfG.

As a Partnerships Officer, reporting to the Partnerships Manager, you will:

  • Generate new business by identifying and approaching new potential partners;
  • Support the development of funding proposals;
  • Support delivery of partnered projects, including the development of our party conference programme;
  • Track relationships and resource generation progress with new and existing funders, and build and maintain a pipeline;
  • Track project revenue and costs to ensure partnerships projects remain within budget;
  • Track market trends and be aware of the political landscape to help the IfG shape the work it does;
  • Help to prepare funding reports for the Board and senior management team.

Salary

The salary range for this role will be £30,000 to £35,000 per annum (full-time equivalent), depending on skills and experience.
