Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Policy and Public Affairs Officer to join the Campaigns and Communications Team at Endometriosis UK. Our small but ambitious Campaigns and Communications team aims to drive real change for those with endometriosis, and as Policy and Public Affairs Officer you will play a key role in developing policy solutions to support our campaigns and organisational strategy. You will be passionate about creating change, and know what doors to knock on to influence the health policy agenda. You’ll play a key role in influencing the health agenda across Westminster and the devolved nations through stakeholder mapping, parliamentary monitoring, responding to government consultations, and producing parliamentary briefings.

We are looking for a highly motivated Policy and Public Affairs Officer with experience of planning and developing credible policy positions that lead to change. You will have experience of working in a policy role in a team within a charity or similar organisation.

You’ll be able to understand complex issues and be able to communicate these with a wide range of audiences including internal and external stakeholders. You will exercise sound political judgement, and have a strong understanding of the UK political and health landscape.

This new and exciting role sits within our small but ambitious Campaigns and Communications Team, and you will be responsible for providing policy expertise to deliver a new campaigns and communications strategy, working closely with colleagues and volunteers within the organisation as well as external stakeholders.

Location: Endometriosis UK’s office at London Bridge (will consider 4 days a week / flexible/ hybrid working for the right candidate).
