A leading business in the technology sector is searching for a local engagement lead working on regional issues but based out of their London office.
Role:
- Engaging with local stakeholders, community groups, politicians and businesses to ensure their profile is raised in the UK regions to help create a favourable operating environment for the business.
Person specification:
- A good track record of local public affairs engagement work as exemplified through a combination of working for a local authority, local stakeholder engagement specialist public affairs agency or political office;
- A good understanding and knowledge of the devolved political institutions within the UK, local authorities and the property and planning process;
- A self starter and leader with the ability to design and implement engagement strategies to further their corporate objectives;
- An excellent communicator both in writing and verbally;
- A team player.
