Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) is looking for a full time Public Relations and Policy Officer to join its communications team. You will be a creative and organised professional with an outstanding capability and passion for producing, managing, and supporting policy and communication projects. You will be looking for a varied and busy role involving internal and external communications.

You will be part of a strong communication team operating in a demanding business environment. Reporting to the Head of Public Relations and Policy, you will be able to work independently, as part of a wider team, and in line with agile principles. The role will actively support the development of the CIPR’s business through its public relations work and research that enhance the relevance of the CIPR among key audiences.

You will work closely with the Head of Public Relations and Policy as well as the Marketing Director and the senior management team to assist with the planning and development, as well as the delivery, of policy areas and projects related to the CIPR workplan and strategy.

You will be committed to your own professional development and willing to undertake CIPR CPD annually. You will be supported to complete CIPR training, undertake informal learning and potentially to work towards a CIPR qualification in the future.
