A good stakeholder map is the key to delivering any effective public affairs campaign or communications strategy. Our stakeholder mapping session will help you understand your key audiences and identify and prioritise your political stakeholders, influencers and decision makers; politicians, journalists, influencers, thinkers, activists and members of the public.

On the road to the 2015 General Election, many of your stakeholders will change. Power is already shifting - those who have influence today may not be the people you actually need to be investing time in tomorrow.

Q.  So how do I get ahead of the game and make sure I am in touch with the stakeholders who really matter?

A. The Connect Stakeholder Mapping session will help you build your political skills and understanding and show you how to maintain an effective stakeholder map.

We will look at how to undertake a stakeholder mapping project, segment and target your audiences and develop an engagement programme which targets resources. Our open, participative course will also provide an opportunity to discuss how to secure internal input and engagement and present your findings in a way that adds maximum value to your organisation.

This essential Connect training session will cover:

  • The importance of strategic stakeholder mapping;
  • Where to start – identifying who you know and who you don’t;
  • How to run an effective mapping exercise;
  • How to best present your findings;
  • Developing a stakeholder engagement strategy;
  • Refreshing and reviewing your stakeholders over time.
