This timely discussion, hosted by the Education Policy Institute and the Whitehouse Consultancy, will focus on the Government’s proposed new national funding formula (NFF) for schools.

The event will draw on recent research from EPI which considers what the impact of the NFF will be, and who the winners and losers are in the context of wider financial pressures on the school system. It will also draw on EPI’s analysis of school funding pledges in party manifestos.

To discuss these issues we have a strong panel, chaired by Rt Hon. David Laws – Executive Chairman, Education Policy Institute, including:

  • Malcolm Trobe CBE – Deputy General Secretary, ASCL;
  • Michelle Doyle Wildman – Acting Chief Executive, PTA UK;
  • Mark Emmerson – Chief Executive, City of London Academies Trust;
  • Charlotte Santry – Deputy News Editor, TES.
