Rob Flello

Brevia Consulting appointed Rob Flello on Tuesday as Chairman of Brevia Transport and a member of its Advisory Board. Flello brings over 12 years of experience as a Member of Parliament where he served on the Transport Select Committee and established the Parliamentary Freight Transport Group. He is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

Flello will oversee Brevia Transport, a dedicated division of Brevia Consulting, which offers a team of consultants with experience in road, rail, aviation, ports, and shipping.

Brevia Transport provides a full range of public affairs support to organisations in the transport and logistics sector.  Services include political monitoring, strategic advice, media relations, select committee training, and comprehensive stakeholder engagement programmes that encompass Westminster, Whitehall, Brussels, and the devolved administrations.

Flello served as the Labour MP for Stoke-on-Trent South between 2005 and 2017. In Parliament, he was a member of the Transport Select Committee and chaired the All-Party Parliamentary Freight Transport Group. He has also served as a Shadow Minister and in Government.  Between 2010 and 2013, he was Shadow Justice Minister covering civil law, victims of crime, and youth justice. During the last Labour government, Flello was the Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to the Secretary of State for Defence. He also served as PPS to the Secretary of State for Communities & Local Government, Cabinet Office and PPS to the Lord Chancellor.
