Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Are you a councillor? Or do you have campaign experience, perhaps at the recent general election?

We welcome people who have previous experience in this sector at other agencies and want to further their career.

If you hold a position in elected local government, or have done until recently, and have experience in project management, then we would like to talk with you about joining our first-class team. We can help you develop a new and exciting career that involves using your interest in politics.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A good presentation style and understanding the requirements of providing clients with a first class service;
  • Good political and potential client contacts;
  • Knowledge of the development control/planning process;
  • Educated to degree level with first class written English and report writing skills as well as good PC skills.
