Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Our clients include AstraZeneca, Bayer, Boots Opticians, the Cancer Campaigning Group, Kidney Research UK, and Roche – to name but a few. We work at UK, European, and Global levels across a broad range of communications disciplines including policy, government affairs, media relations, patient advocacy, and corporate communications.

We are looking for an Account Manager to expand our talented team to support business growth across our broad client base. This role will suit an ambitious health policy expert with previous agency experience with strong UK policy / public affairs experience who is committed to working and thinking hard, as well as having fun, delivering the outcomes that really matter for a range of commercial, voluntary and public sector clients – all of whom have an interest in health and care.

The successful candidate will be a team player who is committed to not only delivering excellent client service, but also to continuing to help redefine health policy communications. In addition to client service responsibilities driving forward policy engagement programmes, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in MHP Health’s acclaimed original policy research programme, as well as our training and client service programmes which are designed to ensure that our team continues to comprise the best health policy and communications advisors in the business.

Ideally the successful candidate will have a background working in a communications consultancy a passion for healthcare and a desire to apply this in a busy commercial environment.
