The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

This exciting position offers an opportunity to someone looking for new challenges as they progress in their career. As the manager, you will work closely with our CEO and our key stakeholders to develop new strategies and lead implementation plans for the team including establishing new partnerships, memberships and streams of activity. You will be liaising with our parliamentary officers and key sector organisations.

We are looking for an experienced person to lead our work in Energy Safety policy. This includes running the All-Party Parliamentary Carbon Monoxide Group and the Carbon Monoxide All Fuels Action Forum you will be assisted by a Research and Project Co-ordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Parliament, public policy, research and/or public affairs, and will preferably have a keen interest in energy safety and / or public health policy.

The All-Party Parliamentary Carbon Monoxide Group (APPCOG) exists to bring parliamentarians together to discover, discuss and promote ways of tackling carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning in the UK. In doing so, it works closely with the Carbon Monoxide All Fuels Action Forum (the Forum), a coalition of energy and other industry representatives, medical professionals, researchers, campaigners and others committed to tackling the issue of CO poisoning.

Working across a wide range of policy areas, covering mainstream and niche issues, the Policy Connect network of groups is recognised for providing the highest quality in impartial, policy-led research, events and campaigning. We are a private limited company, a social enterprise and a not for profit organisation.

Salary: circa £26,231 to £29,246. Salary includes a £400 travel and mobile allowance. Pension contribution on completion of 3-month probationary period.
