Location: South Wales office – (Working from home is an option in line with Crisis’ homeworking policy - minimum of one day a week in the office).
About the role
As Head of Policy and Communications, you will be responsible for leading our policy influencing work in Wales. This is an extremely exciting time to join the team as you will be working closely with government officials and influential sector leads to bring about real change. This role manages a small but highly skilled team, operating in a quick paced environment and also working across different teams and departments from head office and services.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have excellent knowledge of developing and securing policy change at a national government level and will be keen to get stuck into the day to day development of this work. Ideally you will have sound knowledge of the homelessness system in Wales, with a strong desire to end homelessness through political influencing activity. You will be an experienced media spokesperson and understand how to communicate policy matters in a simple and concise way.
