Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

Join the Network

Working closely with the head of policy at this influential membership body currently going through a period of sustained growth, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing policy and promoting the industry in line with the roll out of business strategy.

In addition to deputising for the head of the division, you’ll enjoy extensive contact with members, preparing responses to consultation papers and briefings, and monitoring public policy to ensure that members are fully informed. Providing secretariat support for committees, you'll prepare collateral and you’ll enjoy additional input into roundtables and thought leadership events as well as attending external meetings with diverse stakeholders.

Experience gained in policy is essential and you’ll need to demonstrate a keen understanding of public health coupled with an ability to grasp and interpret complex issues, and translate into concise briefings. Strong project management skills are a must and you’ll be skilled at building relations with diverse stakeholders and making representation.
