Established in January 2002, PubAffairs is the premier network and leading resource for the public affairs, government relations, policy and communications industry.

The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

The PubAffairs e-Newsletters are used to keep members informed about upcoming PubAffairs events and networking opportunities, job vacancies, public affairs news, training courses, stakeholder events, publications, discount offers and other pieces of useful information related to the public affairs and communications industry.

The role

  • You will work across our communications and public affairs teams;
  • You will support our Media Monitoring Unit;
  • Monitoring the media for key developments relating to clients;
  • Researching, analysing and collating political outputs from Westminster, Whitehall and the regulators;
  • Contributing to the drafting of briefings, stakeholder maps and client updates;
  • You will be supporting these teams in servicing clients;
  • Taking part in brainstorms to come up with new story ideas for clients.

The ideal Intern will

  • Have a passion for politics and/or the media;
  • Have a desire to learn new things;
  • Have the ability to work well within teams;
  • Be excited by the opportunity to work on new projects;
  • Have a strong work ethic.

Who’s eligible

  • Anybody over the age of 18;
  • You don’t need a degree or any work experience.
