Unlocking potential to expand capabilities; achieve goals while empowering the employee to continuously learn and improve requires coaching skills. Having these skills enable the creation of a coaching culture which drives continuous improvement while encouraging a positive manager-employee relationship.
An ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) study found that 80% of the 250 UK companies surveyed are using, or have used coaching as a development tool, and another 9% plan to do so. Of these 96% say coaching has benefited the individual coached and 95% say they also think it has helped the organisation.
At the same time a CIPD Learning and Development Survey highlighted the gap between the proportion of organisations using coaching activities (79%) and the proportion providing their managers with coaching skills training (47%). This is an interactive, innovative workshop designed to provide you with practical tools and skills to coach your team and lead them to self-motivation and an attitude orientated towards solutions.
