The PubAffairs network numbers over 4,000 members and is free to join. PubAffairs operates a general e-Newsletter, as well as a number of other specific group e-Newsletters which are also available to join by completing our registration form.

By the end of the session, delegates will be able to:

  • Using the 'I model’, recognise the importance and influence of communicating with impact
  • Identify the barriers to communication and recognise the listening blocks
  • Explore the impact of building rapport, effective listening and the use of non verbal communication
  • Explore how to be more confident in your dialogue by using the powerful questions, to influence and persuade
  • Understand how to adapt personal communication style to build relationships
  • Establish techniques for dealing with negative responses or behaviour

Sneha Khilay

Snéha has provided training and consultancy support to a wide range of organisations over the past 20 years. She has cultivated a wealth of experience and knowledge on presentation skills, assertiveness, effective interpersonal and communication skills. Her training and coaching in these areas has enabled managers and staff to interact with confidence in the areas of; conflict management, managing staff/ effective teams and presenting with impact.Snéha incorporates the philosophy of 'respect and dignity' in all training and consultancy work and communicates effectively, with flair, enthusiasm and sound interpersonal skills. She has developed a high level of expertise in responding appropriately to challenging situations. She values the importance of building rapport within the frame of being adaptable and supportive. Snéha completed her Masters Degree - Management of Human Resources at Brunel University with her research focus being on the effective management of instances of sexual harassment at work. She qualified as a NLP Master Practitioner and is an accredited Business Executive coach.
