At Connect we understand how MPs’ and Peers’ offices work and how best to engage with their staff. We have been building relationships with parliamentarians and staff for over 20 years and many of our consultants have worked in an MP’s office.

This course will teach you how to:

  • build effective relationships with MPs and Peers
  • identify and work with their key members of staff
  • understand the political, party and local priorities of different MPs
  • use key events in the political year to increase your reach and influence
  • use parliamentary business to table questions in the House
  • get the most from 1-2-1 meetings

This is an essential course for those who regularly meet with MPs and Peers or run MP and Peer engagement programmes.

Delivered by:

  • Charles Pitt, Account Director, has over a decade’s experience in Westminster and Whitehall working for Conservative Minister, in the House of Commons and as an activist in local and party leadership elections.
  • Rob Dale, Senior Account Manager, has worked in Westminster for over six years and is the author of How to be a Parliamentary Researcher.
